On the 24th of June 2022, the XVII National Rotorcraft Forum was held at the headquarters of the Łukasiewicz Research Network - the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw (Poland). The event was co-organized by the Air Force Institute of Technology, Warsaw University of Technology, and the Lublin University of Technology. The conference allowed participants to present research results and discuss the problems and challenges in aerospace engineering related to rotorcraft. During the conference, participants representing engineers and scientists from countries such as Poland, Slovakia, and Canada presented their works. In addition to contemporary problems in rotorcraft engineering, historical topics related to helicopter and gyrocopter structures were also discussed.

As part of the event, the project contractors presented two posters. The first one entitled “Measurements of deformations of the fuselage of an unmanned aircraft” focused on testing the structural strength properties of the developing aircraft using the Aramis system. The second poster, entitled “Thermal loads of the selected electronic components installed on a multi-rotor unmanned flying platform” presented an analysis of the temperature of selected electronic components on board the research flying platform developed as part of the project works. In addition to the aforementioned topics, the project contractors presented the conference participants with general information about the hybrid unmanned aerial vehicle of vertical take-off and landing with the possibility of auto-rotating flight.
