The sixth edition of the International Scientific Conference on Computer Methods in Engineering CMES'21 was held on November 25-27, 2021. After the last year's online conference, this year’s event was held on-site at the Zamojska Academy in Zamość.
The conference serves as a knowledge-sharing platform for numerous national and international research centers representing different fields of engineering and technical sciences. Two works carried out under the project were presented at the conference. One of them was "Numerical analysis of the support platform for an unmanned aerial vehicle" and concerned, among others, the use of engineering tools for strength calculations of the support platform designed for functional-utility tests of the designed hybrid aircraft. This work presents the research results of stresses and displacements of structural elements resulting from the interaction of forces corresponding to the conditions during the flight. The other study entitled "Numerical calculations of the autorotating rotor under transient conditions" presented the results of CFD calculations of the main rotor operating in autorotation. This rotor is dedicated to the designed UAV. Load is presented in the paper as a function of time acting on each of the blades. Positively reviewed, the works have been published in IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series.
