The project team received theoretical and practical VLOS and BVLOS training (special category of NSTS-06) to perform flights in unmanned aircraft of a mass of up to 25 kg both in and beyond visual line of sight. These types of training are necessary to successfully respond to significant changes in the unmanned aviation law and be capable of performing flights using the test platform.
The training was held in August/September 2021 and complied with the latest European regulations. These courses were broader than the one approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Poland (Urząd Lotnictwa Cywilnego - ULC).
