The International Conference of Computational Methods in Engineering Science - CMES 2020 was held on 24-25 November 2020. The CMES conference is aimed at the development of engineering science, numerical and experimental techniques, exchange of experiences and good practices among representatives of scientific communities and industry. Two project works were presented at the conference.
The first one entitled Numerical analysis of the airflow around the Gyro-One autogyro focuses on the use of reverse engineering in the design of unmanned aircraft and numerical fluid mechanics to calculate basic aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft. The second work CFD investigation of the aerodynamic characteristics of the autogyro with a double tail stabilizer discusses the results of the CFD calculations of one of the fuselage concepts of the designed aircraft.
